ROD '07

Wow. The last time I posted was... a mth ago? haha.

Anw, ROD was fun. Wait. Did i say fun? No. Sorry. I meant... funny. Yep. Games was quite the usual - a bit of a treasure hunt, captains ball (i was captain). Oh yes. There was one game we played that was not usual - the adjective game. It was quite entertaining - there were things like... longest tongue, longest split, biggest angle of split. Things that one would never think of.

Then came dinner. BBQ prepared by CIs. Isn't that rare? haha. (oops.) All we did was sit down on the bench and drink 7-up and get served by ma'ams. But the food turned out really good (comparing with the class chalet bbq prepared by ourselves)... HAHA. We couldn't even sustain the fire then. Anw, we got fishballs, beehoon(not bbqed, obviously), chicken wings, susages...etc. Oh yes. Talking abt susages reminds me of geraldine trying to stuff the whole susage into her mouth. (It looked really really wrong.Gosh.To think she actually managed it...) And nisa who couldnt sit still and got bullied by everyone. Haha. And not forgetting the 3 sqdmates who kept singing. Ahem. i won't name them:)

Ah. Wash-up time. We got half an hour. Me and shermaine were nice ppl(like real). But we were all the same. We sacrificed our showering to let the performers shower. Isn't that great? I mean, its such a great sacrifice... it should be recorded into history books for students to learn about this event 10 years down the road. kk, just jk. Anw, it was funny seeing sqdmates force themselves into retro dresses. And yes. Elvis Presley. HAHA. Geraldine looked super cute can?

Performace time. It was quite a success. I won't elaborate on this part (the pics will tell you everything). Then came gift exchange. LOL. I got 3 kinder buenos. How nice. And omgosh. Yes. The teddy bear in the tin which i so nicely wrapped up landed up with ahem's gf. Funny sia.

Then squadtalk. LOL. Andrea and Liana and NCOs kept telling jokes (that were both lame and funny). Oh yes. I got my POP present. How early. (heehee just jk. Its the thought that counts.)
Sleeping time came. Which meant story-telling time too. And i expect you will know what sort of stories i'm talking about. And our dear sqdmate - Jiaxuan and Geraldine shared their first hand experiences. It wasn't really scary. In fact, it was funnier to see how the squad huddled tgth with the i-want-to-know-more-but-i'm-afraid look.

2am. Awoken for sentry duty. Lasted for an hour. Which included 3 walks around the parade square, hall, toilets, g-block, service road. Went back to sleep at 3. Thanks to Victoria who willingly shared her sleeping bag as blanket with me:))

7.15am. Woke up, wash up, put back gym mat, pack bags, head for canteen. Served with a few packets of biscuits, and 2 masstins of milo. Very nice. Then had area clean up. Me, Jiaxuan, nisa and zakiah. You won't believe me. But we were declined of such a rare offer - to mop the toilet and wipe the walls. The cleaner was just too ke qi, i guess. So we ended up emo-ing outside the art gallery toilet, waiting for the rest of sqdmates.

Break camp time. Was given a token (orange colour for my group). Went home.
