Specially dedicated to my fellow 2s2'07 classmates

HELLO!! long time no post...
There was no reason for me to post.... but now, there is ONE reason for me to do it. And the reason is:2S2 '07.

It's been 2 years since we first met in Dec'05, when we came to school after the PSLE posting. That very moment we stepped in to the hall of CGS and sat down in that very role, we were 2S2. Nothing could change that fact(even though there were ppl who switched classes after that). I looked around at the oh-so-unfamiliar faces, until WeiLin stepped into the hall. We were
ex-classmates (from P1 to P4). And it felt so good just to see her back in my class again. (I hope she felt so too?) Haha.

I'm sure most of us were dreading the start of 2006. It came anyway. As usual, there were the admin stuff to deal with, followed by icebreakers and stuff during orientation. Recalling how we were just so un-enthu during cheer sessions just makes me laugh now. I wonder why ppl like Minyee did not reveal their booming voices then (no offence!). For the first few months, Weilin and i sat together. Next to me in the other row was Charlotte and Charmaine. I still remember- once our form teacher, Ms Irene Tay, called out Kimberley for some admin stuff. and my reaction to Weilin beside me was:"What?! There's a Kimberley in our class??" (oops. i was still that blur at that time).
Then we started selecting our class comitttee. Inez was chair. Nicolette was vice. (Partly cos its too long to name everyone in the class com, but also, i forgot some positions. So im only naming the top 2). Of cos, credit must still be given to everyone in the class com, or S2 would not have been what it was like.

3 months passed and our PBL horror began. We were grouped by random (if i rmb correctly) and i was grouped with Valencia, Shermaine and LaiYP. Things did not go as smoothly as we wanted. But we managed it alright and came in 3rd in class:))) Thank you, group members for being the first ppl i worked with in 2s2.
Then one day Ms Tay annouced that our new classchair would be Selica as Inez and Lydia were future councillors. They indeed turned out to be very respectable councillors of 2s2.From that very day, Selica took 1s2'06 and 2s2'07 into her hands. She was great. And is great. And will always be our great class chair.
During mid 06, Sravya left us for New Jersey. This was especially saddening for her clique. (Thank God for MSN that we can still keep in touch).
Due to our talkativness, we had to change seats quite often:D Frm whatever i recall, i rmb seating with Weilin, Charmaine, YueBin, Minyee(for a few mins) in the whole year:)
I was never really closed to anybody in the class in sec 1. But nearing the end of 2006, i was quite close with Tania, Charlotte, MinYee, Selica and Millie. I'm sure we had a fun time spending our last few days as 1s2'06 together.
There was a class outing during the hols. But too bad i missed it:/

2007 arrived. Some things took a turn. But some just stayed as they were. And one such example was the longest-lasting clique - Valencia, Clarissa, YueBin, YehChi, Weilin, Lihui (and Sravya in NJ). I really admire the way their true friendship last throughout the 2 years. Then our dear Korean Giwon joined us at the beginning of the year. And almost immdiately, she fitted in so nicely with the clique.

Wow. Our class is becoming international. There's Inez from Indonesia, Giwon from Korea, Tania, Pranjali, Momo and Kritika from different parts of India.

Another thing that had not change was HuiPing - our class joker. She was so playful in sec 1. and she is still as playful in sec2, or if not, even more playful!:)) but it's these jokes and mischievious ways that livens up 2s2.

In sec1, I was the only one from s2 in NP:( but in 2007, 3 ppl suddenly joined NP. and the 3 ppl were Shermaine, SarahJ and Meiyi. I was really happy. Finally got companions from NP too!!:) Not only were we classmates, but CCA mates too!

We had PBL again. Some were horrified frm their sec1's experience with their group. but i think most of us will find that PBL is one of the events that hold various memories of our class (good or bad). I'm sure that even in the midst of our hardwork, and maybe quarrels, we would have our fun and happy times spent together with our fellow classmates. We will probably never get to be in exactly the same group as we once had again.

Anws, we got to choose our team members this year. so me, meiyi, mel and millie formed grp 3:))) the 3M1V grp. haha! Thank You for tolerating my nonsenses all this time!!:)

This thought suddenly came to my mind. In most, or even maybe all, of the fieldtrips out of school, i was always sitting with Meiyi on the bus. haha. Just a sudden random thought. Oh yes. and also the few weeks when me, meiyi and kritika went home together. Even though i didn't talk much during those times, i'll always rmb the jokes you ppl cracked that made we want to laugh dearly!

Then there was the teachers' day video where our class worked together to put up a few mins video for our dear teachers. but credit must really be given to Ester- our great computer pro. I must really comment on her great skills in IT, and her humble ways. Way to go, ester!! Maybe you'll make 2s2'07 proud one day by becoming 2nd billgates. but as it is, we're already proud of you, Ester!

As the months went by, many of us changed friends. Daphane and SarahJ became very close. and me, shermaine, mel, selica, chenting, kimmy and momo became quite close too:)))

And my dear dear AhLian the 2nd - Smita! If i don't rmb wrongly, it just took one MSN convo and a few short convos in class that made us fellow Ahlians! haha:))) (btw, i read your post and -I love you too!!)

I know i quarrelled with Clar (thru blog posts - haha!). but im glad we patched up, thanks to Shermaine. Anws, like what you said - we were once melobhim. and prince charming with a white horse in candyland. and homecpartners. Every of these little things form memories of us together during the 2 years. So i would like to say Thank You. and friends forever, yea?:)

There are 2 very studious pupils in our class which i would like to specially mention: Kristy and Pranjali. Kristy's the brain of our class for chinese, and without Pranjali excelling in Math and Sci, 2s2 would seem like a handicap, short of a limb. But of course, a body is made up of more than just one limb. There're many other modest, studious yet humble ppl in our class (i.e LengYP and the 2 names above!) Thanks for letting 2s2 soar high up above the rest!!

And finally! For the very very quiet ppl in 2s2 - Valerie and ShuMin. Though we did not really hear you guys throughout the 2 years, your pressence made 2s2 a whole. For Valerie, i'll rmb the time where we skated together. I think that was the day we spent the most time together:) and for ShuMin, i'll always rmb the short conversations i had with you, even the ones before my CCA started last year:)

Ok. I'm done with the biography of 1s2'06 and 2s2'07. I hope our upcoming chalet will not be our last class outing:/ but even if it is, 2s2 will always remain in my heart.
