Short story - broken bamboo stick(:

This is so amusing, i have to say it here and now. haha here it goes:

Just a few minutes ago, I was helping my mum to throw a bag of rubbish (and the bin thingy that leads to the chute downstairs, its outside my house). so she opened the door while i went to throw it. And just as i was about to walk of, she exclaimed:"isn't that bamboo stick broken?" Tilting my head upwards to wear she was pointing too, i immediately understood what she was talking about. The house above us had clothes hanging out of the window and one of the bamboo sticks had broken! The clothes, together with one part of the stick, was hanging dangerously and swaying from side to side in the wind. Just a bigger gust of wind and the stick might totally break into two, and drop right down. Oh-my-goodness.

So up i went (sent by my mum) and i pressed the doorbell. After what seemed like eons, the door was finally opened by this lady who's first response on seeing me was:"WHAT?". Taken aback, i declared in my most casual tone that her bamboo stick was partially broken. Bad mistake on my part. Cause i got was a look of disbelief and hint of annoyance from her eyes. But all the same, the lady went back in to confirm my words and only a few seconds later, she came back smiling warmly and thanking me. hah. thought i was pulling her leg. all the same, i returned her gratitude with a knowing smile, and went back down where my mum was waiting for me. i looked up and the broken stick was gone.
The End.

Amusing, isn't it?:D
