Roses are red

Never in my 18 years of life did i imagine myself making a bouquet of flowers. Turns out i made so many in the past 1 month wooohoo :D and i made new friends too! =D

Things i learnt:
1. Most flowers are not as fragile as they appear but one must still handle them with great care (much urghhh for a relatively rough person like me)
2. Baby breath is beautiful but VERY SMELLY (the fresher it is, the smellier)
3. Most customers are really understanding, patient and kind (a rare few are the exact opposite)
4. Whatever orders you take, always rmb to take down the customer's hp number (sometimes in a rush i take down all their details except their hp no -.-)
5. Rmb to turn of helium gas tap or get spanked in the butt
6. Gerbera = Daisy
7. The hardest part of making a bq of flowers is the wrapping
8. There is a high chance of meeting ppl you know when u work in a shopping centre
9. A flower shop probably has one of the highest electricity and water bills to pay
10. Make friends with ppl from other shops around you and benefit (e.g. get discounted/ free food flow throughout the day hahaha)
11. Appreciate roses that have already been de-thorned
12. Try not to order bear bouquets. The bears are treated really badly (wire twisted round the neck so tightly) just to make a nice bear bq. Maybe i'll start a Anti-Bear-Bq Campaign hahaha just jk
13. Rmb to ask what the OT pay is before agreeing to work OT
14. Smile when random ppl stop to look at you do bq; ignore when you are making the bq for the customers and they are watching you do it (feel pressure = more nervous = screw more things up)
15. Working tgt with 4 other ppl under stress and in such a claustrophobic environment can be very fun actually (because they're awesome ppl) =D

Mass production ftw!

Purple lily! One day i'll learn to do this XP

Some rich guy ordered this 99 rose bq! He paid with a $1000 note (feels so good holding it hahaha). Bq done by the very pro lang :) btw, the red roses in the centre supposed to look like a heart shape (specially requested by customer)

My fellow part-timer!! :D (i wonder what she's holding lol!)
